Can antenatal corticosteroids prevent preterm infant death and morbidity in low-resource settings?

Antenatal corticosteroids have been shown to be effective in preventing preterm infant death in high-resource settings. However, a population-based study published in 2015 showed otherwise in low-resource countries. This video focuses on the results of a clinical trial coordinated by WHO. This study demonstrated the efficacy of antenatal corticosteroids in low-resource countries, provided minimal clinical standards are met.
