Summary

This animation presents a series of research studies on the linkages between cross-cultural experience and entrepreneurialism. They examine the idea that travel and engagement with foreign cultural elements stimulate novel insights and modes of perception. Through repeat experiences, people become adept at juxtaposing cultures and are better at sensing and seizing opportunities. Dr. Pidduck calls this phenomenon “the entrepreneurial advantages of experiencing foreignness”.
