Where did Earth’s water come from?
Summary
The surface of Earth is about 70% water, but where did all that H2O come from? Was it here when Earth formed originally, or was it delivered by meteorites/asteroids? We investigate Earth’s ultimate source of water by looking at, of all things, rocks from the Moon.
