Summary

To answer this question, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis. Our search identified five randomized trials involving 580 patients and seven other studies in functional dyspepsia patients with concomitant Helicobacter pylori infection, in irritable bowel syndrome, and in functional dyspepsia patients from 12 years of age. In summary, Menthacarin is effective and safe for the treatment of functional dyspepsia and represents a promising option for symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.
