How can teams reap the benefits of diversity while managing its challenges?
Diversity within teams is of great importance and can yield heightened creativity. But diversity can also lead to a break down in communications and group tension. Wilson et al from the University of Illinois have proposed an intervention involving oscillation to navigate through team diversity and increase team creativity and productivity.
