How can we improve biosecurity in recirculating aquaculture systems?

PathoRAS, a project by Nofima, aims to improve biosecurity in Atlantic salmon recirculating aquaculture systems in Norway. The project is doing this by investigating pathogen dynamics in the unique RAS environment and evaluating the disinfection protocols used to control the issue. The project is financed by The Norwegian Seafood Research Fund (901826) and led by Dr Carlo C. Lazado from Nofima.
