Summary

This project examines productivity levels in the West Midlands region, working with businesses and policymakers to identify skills shortages, local industry structures, levels of investment, and management practices in different industry sectors in the region and link these to macro-economic data at regional and national levels. City-REDI / WM REDI are sister regional economic research institutes based at the University of Birmingham to support inclusive economic growth in the West Midlands and across the UK.
