Summary

Dedicated to advancing the science of neurotrauma and neurologic disease, the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Neurotrauma Research (CNTR) conducts ground-breaking research into traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. CNTR’s expertise spans the neurotrauma research spectrum, including injury biomechanics, neurobiology, neuroimaging, biomarkers, clinical effects and recovery, therapeutics, and long-term outcomes. This work translates to positive impacts on patient care, fosters the development of future scientists, and improves the health of our community. CNTR are deeply grateful for support from federal, industry and private funders without whom their research would not be possible.
