Summary

The team at Helmholtz Munich has developed a revolutionary virus-neutralization assay, based on virus-like particles (VLPs), to measure the concentration of neutralizing antibodies contained in body fluids (such as serum) of vaccinated or infected individuals. Prime target being SARS-CoV-2. Check out their research paper “Quantitation of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies with a virus-free, authentic test” available at medRxiv: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.12.29.21268487v1
