Summary

Ocean circulation distributes heat, carbon, nutrients, and other tracers across the globe. Earth’s global ocean, therefore, plays a vital role in regulating the climate system. The Modelling Ocean Dynamics and Ecosystems Lab (MODEL) uses a variety of techniques to study physical, biological, and ecological aspects of the ocean, to better understand our climate and its past, present, and future changes.
