Summary

Around the world, in ordinary neighbourhoods, children are trafficked for sexual exploitation. Such crimes are often fuelled by poverty and desperation but come at a cost to the child’s future. This story explores how children in Peru, India and the Democratic Republic of Congo suffer at the hands of those who seek to sexually exploit them, sometimes by their own family or trusted community members, and why we must all fight against this crime to protect the most vulnerable members of our society.
