Summary

visNET, virtual in situ networking, is an EPSRC-funded (EP/S012079/1) project led by the University of Glasgow together with the University of Strathclyde and the University of Edinburgh. We explored the role of networking and collaboration for retention of women amongst early career researchers in STEM. We set out to give tools for women to navigate a “chilly” environment, instead together we discovered how to create a “warm” environment for them to thrive.
